Tableware International Names Zarina a Finalist
Zarina Tableware was named a finalist in the Tableware International awards of Excellence 2020.
We are delighted to be in the final line up of three, for the Licensed Collaboration Category 2020. The awards ceremony took place in Frankfurt on the 9th February at AMBIENTE.
This collection was inspired by the work of the famous Lebanese artist Mona Trad Dabaji. Her paintings show the more light-hearted side of life a modern Arab Woman. This collection is both whimsical and elegant. Featuring images of two jolly women enjoying coffee as they sunbathe, a happy lady reading or birds carrying the “blue eye” pendant; this collection is full of life and brings a smile to your face. Simply put, this collection tells the story of the lives of everyday people in a happy way.
The judges said: “Original and playful. Very nicely done.”
We combine innovative design with quality porcelain to produce tableware that will be passed on from generation to generation.
Editor Mairead Wilmont states “This is an award for the industry, judged by the industry. You will not find higher praise than that from your colleagues.” We concur and are honored to be chosen as one of the finalists.
Thank you Tableware International!

AMBIENTE, thank you for your warm welcome!
Despite the cold, Zarina received a warm welcome at the February 2020 AMBIENTE exhibition. We were present in Hall 8 and happy to meet people from around the world! At this show, we revealed our latest collection, a collaboration with BOKJA Design (www.bokja.com).
This collection includes serving pieces, dinner plates and coffee cups. Bokja, who are known for their textiles that tell a story, brought the rich art of tapestry to the table with this collection that embodies the look of textiles.
Also, at this fair Zarina was named a finalist by Tableware International for our collection based on our collaboration with Beirut based artist, Mona Trad Dabaji! You can read more about that above.
